INLAYS/ONLAYS
Inlays/onlays are tooth-colored porcelain fillings that are used to repair a tooth when not enough tooth structure remains to hold a typical filling.
INLAYS VS. ONLAYS
Inlays/onlays are porcelain restorations that are much more durable than tooth-colored fillings and don’t require as much tooth removal as crowns. You can refer to these restorations as partial crowns.
The main difference between inlays/onlays is where the porcelain is applied. Inlays fit within the tooth while overlays fit over the tooth.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF INLAYS/ONLAYS?
- Prolonged tooth life
- Added strength and durability
- Restore the natural look of the tooth

- More conservative regarding your existing tooth structure
ARE INLAYS/ONLAYS RIGHT FOR ME?
