Improving smiles
What is a Prosthodontist? A Prosthodontist (präs' thō dän' tist) is a provider of quality oral health care specializing in the restoration and replacement of teeth. What distinguishes a prosthodontic dentist from other dentists? Dr. Nick will tell you that a Prosthodontist does “serious rebuilding.” The American Dental Association (ADA) recognizes prosthodontics as a dental specialty, requiring dentists to attend three years of specialized training at an ADA-accredited graduate program (after four years of dental school, of course) in order to become Prosthodontists.
Improving the quality of life
Why visit a Prosthodontist? The reasons are as simple or as complicated as the patient’s needs. Many people are looking for the best quality dental work available. Some have needs more complex than most dentists have been trained to handle. Others prefer restorative procedures to surgical solutions. Then there are those who simply want a more attractive smile. Regardless of motivation, all are looking to improve their lives as well as their smiles.
Smiles and lifestyles
All dentists love to make people smile. But Dr. Nick will tell you that while other dentists might be obsessed by doing quality work, Prosthodontists are typically particular about improving their patients’ smiles and lifestyles as well. Dr. Nick is THE specialist you want helping you with your smile. Are you a candidate for prosthodontic treatment?
